Lesa A. Sroufe, CFA

President, Lesa Sroufe & Co., Inc.

As the President and Chief Investment Officer of the firm bearing her name, Lesa leads investment strategy and oversees the research and investment process. Her focus is on the stock research and selection used in managing separate portfolios. With over 29 years of securities research and analysis experience, Lesa continues her practice of seeking out securities she believes are undervalued, often out of favor with mainstream investors and, in her opinion, priced under their potential fair value.

Lesa Sroufe was employed by Ragen MacKenzie, a New York Stock Exchange member brokerage firm and its subsequent owner, Wells Fargo & Co., for 14 years. During much of her career at Ragen MacKenzie, Lesa Sroufe was the Research Director. She also served as Chairman and CEO prior to the Company’s initial public offering in 1998 and through its sale to Wells Fargo & Co., in 2000. Throughout her tenure at Ragen MacKenzie, she managed the firm’s primary equity product, The Ragen MacKenzie Value List. Prior to her employment with Ragen MacKenzie, Lesa was affiliated as a securities analyst with Foster & Marshall Inc., which is now a part of Smith Barney.

After the Wells Fargo & Co. acquisition of Ragen MacKenzie, Lesa was appointed Director of Research and member of the Executive Committee for Wells Fargo & Co.’s Private Asset Management. This division of Wells Fargo managed $55 billion in private client assets. Lesa managed the research of 90 portfolio managers/analysts reporting on 360 companies.
